The Association for Sustainable Development "Agro-Group"

The Association for Sustainable Development "Agro-Group", was founded in 1997, for people professionally engaged in environment protection. In 2004 it obtained the status of an "organisation of public benefit". Its activities encompass various forms of environmental educational and information.

Main fields of activities are:

- environmental education,
- rural development,
- funds for sustainable development,
- cross-sector cooperation.

In the past few years the activities of "Agro-Group" have developed from local to national level and has started to co-operate on an international level as well.
The Association co-operates with tens of communes and hundreds of schools in the region of Podlasie, and implements many projects with the active participation of beneficiaries. It also takes part in cross-border projects, participates in workshops, trainings and seminars, follows the process of implementation of European funds in Poland.
